If you're reading this

You've probably already lost a day this month.

Maybe more than one. You know the routine. The aura starts. You cancel the dinner, the school run, the meeting. You close the curtains. You wait it out.

And by the time you can lift your head off the pillow again, half the week is gone.

You've tried the paracetamol and the triptans and the prophylactic your GP suggested at the last appointment. Some of it helps, some of the time. None of it gives you back the hours you spent lying still in the dark.

You shouldn't have to wait twenty weeks for a neurology referral to start doing something about that.

Why nothing else has worked

Most migraine tools work on what you can feel. The real lever is what you can't.

Painkillers travel through your stomach, your liver and your bloodstream. By the time enough of the active ingredient reaches the nerves that are firing in your temples, the attack has been running for an hour or two.

And generic head massagers? Pleasant, but they squeeze the wrong points. They don't target the trigeminal and occipital nerve pathways — the ones that carry migraine pain to the surface of the skull.

Targeted, rhythmic pressure on those specific points can interrupt the cascade of pain signalling that drives an attack. Migraine clinics in Germany and Japan have used variations of this for over a decade.

In the UK, almost no one is talking about it. Not because the science is unsound — because there's no NHS pathway to prescribe it.

Most migraine tools work on what you can feel. The real lever is what you can't.
Meet Solva

Three things happen during a 15-minute session.

Compression. Heat. A real, automatic 15-minute window. Designed around the science your GP isn't currently funded to prescribe.

01

Targeted compression

Six pneumatic airbags positioned over your temples, forehead and eye area. Gentle, rhythmic pressure on the exact points where the trigeminal nerve runs closest to the skull's surface.

02

Soft heat therapy

An adjustable, even heat that penetrates the muscle and tissue beneath. The layer most generic head massagers skip — and the one that makes the difference between 'felt nice' and 'actually helped'.

03

Auto shut-off at 15

No timer. No app. No thinking. You lie down, press one button, the session ends itself. The lowest-friction tool we know of for a migraine day.

What changes in the first month

  1. Shorter attacks

Used at the first sign of aura or prodrome, the attack may pass faster than usual.

  2. Lower peak pain

The hour when the pain usually crests becomes a notch quieter, a notch shorter.

  3. Lighter day-after

The 'migraine hangover' most women describe feels less heavy. Recovery is cleaner.

  4. A sense of agency

Something to do in the moment, instead of lying still and waiting for it to end.

What changes in the first month

It won't replace your GP. It won't cure your migraines. But it might give you back a day this month. And then another the month after.

First week and I've stopped reaching for triptans.

Honestly didn't think anything would help with my hormonal migraines anymore. Six weeks in and I've used my last triptan over a month ago. I'm not pain-free but I'm functional, which I haven't been in years.

Bought it for my mum. She uses it as a morning ritual.

Bought it for my mum (perimenopausal, terrible migraines since 47). She's been using it every morning as a preventative ritual. She told me she didn't realise how much energy she'd been spending bracing for the next attack until she stopped.

Cautiously optimistic. And glad I tried it.

Mine arrived in 3 days, tracked the whole way. Easy to use out of the box, no app needed which I actually love. Used it twice in the first week and it's already changed the texture of my migraine days. Cautiously optimistic.

Why 100 days, not 30

Three full cycles. A season change. Enough lived experience to actually know.

Most consumer health devices give you 30 days. Some stretch to 60. Solva gives you a full 100.

You can't really know if a migraine tool works in two weeks. Migraines are cyclical. You might have a quiet fortnight and miss the chance to use it. You might have a bad fortnight and use it five times and not be sure.

100 days gives you three full menstrual cycles. A season change. Enough lived experience to actually know. And if at the end of 100 days you don't feel a difference? You return it. Free of charge. No script. No questions.

Honest answers

The questions we get most.

Will it work for my type of migraine?

Solva is designed to help with tension, hormonal and chronic migraine — and it's most consistently useful when used at the first sign of aura or prodrome. We can't honestly tell you it'll work for every type of headache, every time. What we can tell you is that you have 100 days to find out, and a full refund if it doesn't help. If you have cluster headache, ocular migraine with severe photophobia, or any condition that hasn't been seen by a GP, please speak to your doctor before using.

Can I use it during an attack, or only as prevention?

Both. Many customers use it at the first sign of aura or prodrome to reduce attack severity. Many others use it daily as a preventative ritual. The fabric is soft, the device sits gently over your eyes and acts as a light-blocker, so you can absolutely use it in a dark room mid-attack.

How does the 100-day trial actually work?

Order Solva today. Use it for 100 days. If it doesn't help, email our UK support team (we're in London hours) and we'll send you a free, fully-tracked return label. The refund goes back to your original payment method. No questions, no script, no exit survey.

Can I still take my medication while I use Solva?

Yes. Solva is a wellness device, not a medication, and there are no interactions to worry about. We designed it to sit alongside your existing care — not replace it. If you're on prophylactics or triptans, keep taking them as your GP advised.

What's in the box?

The Solva device, a USB-C cable, a soft storage pouch, a printed welcome card, and digital download links for the three bonuses (Playbook, GP Script, Trigger Tracker). Everything you need to start your first session is in the box.

How long does delivery take?

Free tracked delivery across the UK, typically 2–3 working days from our warehouse. You'll receive a tracking link by email within 24 hours of ordering.

Who's behind Solva?

Solva is a UK-facing wellness brand built around compression and heat therapy science that's been used in European headache clinics for over a decade. We work with practising UK GPs on our educational materials. Our customer support, returns and dispatch are all handled in the UK.
