I’ve had mine a couple weeks and wanted to wait to do a review.. I get injections in my neck every 3 months for bulging disc, Degenerative Disc disease, bone spurs, and arthritis.. I’ve worked in healthcare for over 20 years. I use this every night and it actually makes it easier to sleep after using it bc my neck feels better and doesn’t hurt as much.

I had a kink in my neck for over a year. I purchased that Hugterra and man, did it clear up within 2-3 applications!! Nothing else was working, not drugs, not chiropractic, but this works!

I love mine, clears pain up for a day or so, unfortunately it will not fix me. I have discovered that I have severe whiplash from an accident a few yrs ago BUT, IT helps with the neck pain, does only a little for the dizziness. I will continue to use it for pain relief.. Very pleased.

Ease Neck Pain at Home

Years of hard work, prolonged sitting and bad posture put damaging tension on the cervical spine... This causes the cervical discs to squeeze out of place and put pressure on the nearby nerves, leading to that grinding pain...

Laying down on the Solva Cradle for just 15 minutes a day progressively improves blood circulation, relaxes tight muscles...

91% of users reported reduced neck pain from the first session.

Help Support Your Neck's Natural Curve

Modern life pushes the head further forward than it's meant to sit. The muscles tighten to compensate and get stuck in that position. Worse, when muscles are tense and contracted they choke off their own blood supply — so even though your body is trying to send blood to the area to recover, it can't get through properly.

To help with this, the Solva Cradle uses electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) — gentle electrical currents that prompt the muscles to contract, a bit like light exercise. At the same time, it holds your neck at the 26° angle designed to support decompression of the cervical spine.

The small impulses encourage the muscles to act like pumps, helping push blood through the neck and improve circulation — which helps the muscles relax back towards their natural position and eases pressure on the spine.

How The EMS Is Meant To Help

EMS can help prompt the release of endorphins, the body's own pain-relievers. By gently contracting the muscles, it can help build strength and mobility so it's easier to move freely again.

And the gentle currents help settle the irritated nerves behind a lot of neck and shoulder pain.

87% of users were able to alleviate TMJ and tension headaches after 7 days of consistent use (15–20 min/day).

Heat That Helps You Recover

Using adjustable, soothing warmth, the Solva Cradle gently dilates the blood vessels in the neck, making more room for blood to flow through.

More blood flow means more oxygen and nutrients reaching tired neck muscles — supporting your body's own recovery and easing tension.

Heat is a long-established, widely used way to ease muscle tension and support recovery.

Ease Tension With Massage Therapy

Built-in massage nodes work the tight, knotted points around the neck and shoulders — the kind of deep, kneading pressure that helps muscles let go and creates a better environment for the area to recover.

+
+ Helps ease the tightness that builds up around the neck, shoulders and upper back.

Frequently Asked Questions

? Will it give long-term relief?

Most people find lasting relief when they use the Cradle as a daily routine. Painkillers and one-off massages tend to mask things for a few hours; the Cradle is designed to address the underlying tension and posture pattern by combining 26° decompression, EMS, heat and massage in one 15-minute routine.

? What kind of pain is it for?

It's designed to support people with chronic neck stiffness, upper-back and shoulder tension, posture-related complaints ("tech neck", forward head posture, neck hump) and tension headaches. It's a wellness/comfort device, not a medical device — for serious or persistent pain, please see your GP or a qualified clinician.

? What if it doesn't work for me?

Then you don't pay. We offer a 60-day money-back promise — use it for the full 60 days, and if you don't get real relief, email info@solvabrand.co.uk for a full refund. You don't even need to send it back. This is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

? Can I use it in bed?

Yes for the heat and massage. But for the decompression to work properly, gravity needs a firm surface to pull against — so for that part we recommend using it on the floor (on a mat or blanket) for about 10 minutes a day.

? Can I use it after recent neck surgery?

Please check with your clinician first. If you've had recent neck surgery, trauma or a serious cervical condition, the Cradle isn't designed for use during recovery. Always speak to your GP or surgeon before adding any new device to your routine.

? How fast will I feel a difference?

Most people notice something after the first session — a release of tension, an easing of stiffness. Lasting improvement comes from consistent daily use over a few weeks.

? How do I use it?

1) Switch it on. 2) Lie down and set the heat, massage and EMS to a comfortable level. 3) Relax for 15–20 minutes. 4) Use daily for 7–14 days, then as needed when tension builds. A printed manual is included.

? How is it powered?

Built-in rechargeable battery — a full charge lasts roughly 10–15 sessions and takes 3–5 hours. Charging cable included.

? Do you sell on Amazon or in shops?

No — we sell direct only, to keep launch pricing accessible. Some sellers make visually similar devices; those aren't Solva and we can't vouch for their quality, build or after-sales support.

Excellent relief

I've had a developing neck hump for years from being at the computer. My sports-massage therapist is great but expensive, so I bought this for the in-between weeks.

First, a warning: the first time I used it, I felt a sharp prickling sensation and thought it was shocking me. READ THE MANUAL. You have to wipe your neck with a damp cloth or apply a little moisturiser before using the EMS function. Once I did that — oh my goodness. The prickling turned into a deep, rhythmic massage that felt like real fingers working out the knots.

I've been using it for 14 days. The crunchy sound I usually hear turning my head is gone. I can actually check the blind spot reversing the car without turning my whole torso. The hump hasn't disappeared yet, but it definitely feels less swollen and tender. Genuinely impressed.

One improvement needed: the remote is small and easy to lose in the bedsheets. Maybe add a magnet next version.

Bottom line: Don't let the zaps scare you. Wet your neck, start on Level 1, stick with it. Has given me more relief than anything I've bought from Chemist Warehouse.

First impressions great

There's mine. Used it twice across two nights. Read the manual first. Used it once facing one way for 15 minutes, then again facing the other way the next night. Wow, I can really tell the difference. Good so far — happy with the build.

Saved my work-from-home neck

I sit at a dual-monitor setup 10–12 hours a day and my neck is usually cooked by 3pm. I've tried inflatable collars (useless) and a massage gun (too aggressive for the neck). I was sceptical about this 4-in-1 claim, but the physics actually make sense.

The Good:

The Curve: The 26° arch is firm but necessary. It forces your neck back into the correct C-shape. The first 2 minutes are uncomfortable, then your muscles surrender and it feels amazing.
The Heat: Actually gets hot. Not just warm. Therapeutic warmth that preps the muscles before the EMS kicks in.
EMS: I keep it on Level 3 or 4. Feels like deep tissue tapping.

The Meh:

Battery life: If you run Heat + EMS on high (which I do), don't expect a week between charges. I get about 4 sessions before needing a top-up. USB-C charging is nice though.
Beep: Every mode change beeps. A bit loud if your partner's sleeping next to you.

Verdict: If you've got tech neck, worth it. Keep the cable at your desk.

My honest 10-week update

Writing this after using for about 10 weeks so hopefully it helps someone decide. I'm a 42-year-old software engineer so yeah — desk job equals terrible posture. My neck hump wasn't as bad as some of the before pics I've seen but it was definitely noticeable and getting worse.

The wife kept nagging me about my posture (she means well) and I finally decided to do something when my 8-year-old asked why I always look at the ground when we walk together. That hit hard.

Pros:

— Quality feels legit, not cheap Amazon-knockoff.
— Actually works if you stick with it.
— Easy to use while watching telly.
— Customer service replied quickly when I had questions.
— Heat and massage feels great, almost addictive.
— Neck pain is basically gone now.
— Posture has improved — coworkers have commented.

Cons:

— Expensive (though less than physio would cost over time).
— Takes longer than the marketing suggests. They say 2 weeks, took me about 3 to see real changes.
— First week was uncomfortable — felt like my neck muscles were sore.
— Have to clean it regularly or it gets gross.
— Wish straps were longer for bigger guys.

Realistic results: My hump isn't completely gone but it's about 70% better. I look more normal in photos and the wife says I carry myself differently. The neck pain that was getting me — totally gone. That's the biggest win.

Sleeping like a baby again

Twenty years of waking up with a stiff neck and now I genuinely don't think about it most mornings. I sit with the Cradle for about ten minutes after dinner while watching the news, and the change in three weeks has been remarkable. My husband says I stopped doing that grimace I used to do when I turned my head. Best £79.99 I've ever spent.

Finally something that lasted

Three years of fortnightly physio appointments, six rounds of cortisone, and a chiropractor on speed dial. This little thing has done more in a month than all of that combined and I'm not exaggerating. The pain that used to wake me up at 3am has just stopped coming. I don't know exactly how it works but I don't care.

Cervical disc damage from years of rugby in my twenties. Surgeon was wrong

Specialist told me cervical fusion was the only option and quoted me a six month recovery. I decided to give this a fair trial first since the guarantee covered it. Six months in I'm back at yoga twice a week and the pain is at most a 2 out of 10. Save your money on the specialist consultation fee and try this first — I wish I had.

Solid bit of gear

Feels well built, weight is right, no rattles or cheap plastic. Took me about four days to figure out the right angle for my neck but once I had it sorted the relief is real. Worth every penny

My remedial massage costs £60 a session and the relief lasts about three days. I was going every fortnight for years. This little device has effectively replaced about £220 a month in appointments and the relief is steady rather than spiky. I still go for the social side of it but only once a month now.

Goodbye desk neck

Architect, 30 years hunched over drafting boards and now over a CAD station. My posture had become a permanent slump and my neck a permanent ache. Bought it for myself first and after about six weeks I noticed how much easier daily life had become. So I bought a second one for my mum who's 78 and has had a stiff neck since I was a kid. Rear-ended at the lights eight months ago and the whiplash never fully went away. Physio got me 80% of the way back but I plateaued and the last 20% felt stuck. The Cradle finished the job. Three weeks in and my partner asked what had changed because I looked different. Looser shoulders, less hunching, sleeping deeper, no morning grumbling about a stiff neck. I travel for work and hotel pillows wreck my neck within a night or two. I throw the Cradle in my suitcase and use it on the bed before sleeping. Great for my chronic stiffness which I've had for years from old motorbike injuries. Works for stiffness, not sciatica

Helped my neck stiffness a fair bit and I'd recommend it for that. My sciatic pain that radiates from my neck down my left arm didn't really improve like I'd hoped though. So mixed results for me — depends what you're using it for. The neck side of things is genuinely better.

Decent but not life changing

Some relief, especially in the mornings when my neck used to feel locked up. Not as transformative as a lot of the testimonials suggest but probably worth the cost for the modest improvement. I'd buy it again for the price but I'm not going to be telling everyone they need one.

OK for the price

Modest improvement after a month of nightly use. Wouldn't say it changed my life or anything but I'd rather have it than not. The build quality is good and the guarantee gave me confidence to give it a proper try. Three stars feels fair — neither great nor disappointing.
